Reinforcing Mesh

Product Overview
Finestone Reinforcing Mesh is a flexible, nonwoven, fiberglass fabric that comes in a variety of weights and strengths suitable for reinforcing Finestone Class PB and Class PM EIFS as well as Finescreen Cement Board Stucco Systems. Its design of intertwined glass fibers and alkali-resistant resins provides high-strength and compatibility with both cementitious and noncementitious materials.

Types of Mesh and Recommended Uses
Standard Mesh:
Used in a single layer for applications without high traffic or abuse. Required as second layer over Hi-Impact Mesh.

Detail Mesh: Used for backwrapping or encapsulating the edges of Finestone insulation board. Used over special shapes and architectural detailing.

Intermediate 600: Used in a single layer for applications where pedestrian traffic produces moderate impact potential.

Intermediate 1200: Used in a single layer for applications where high pedestrian traffic produces greater impact potential but direct abuse is not expected.

Strong 1500: Used for applications where potential abuse requires higher levels of impact resistance. A layer of Standard Mesh applied over the top is required.

Hi-Impact Mesh: Used to provide maximum impact resistance for wall systems subject to abuse and potential vandalism. A layer of Standard Mesh applied over the top is required.

Finestone Sheathing Mesh Tape: Used as a detail mesh in a single layer for applications over sheathing joints with Finestone Finestop.

Reinforcing Corner Mesh: A preformed heavy-duty eight-foot mesh strip used to provide greater durability to the outside corners of class PB EIFS. Aids the formation of crisp edges at the corners of structures.

Reinforcing Corner Roll Mesh: Pre-creased roll of corner mesh for application to building corners. Allows custom cutting of desired lengths and minimizes waste.

Base Mortar Mesh: Used in a single layer with the Finestone Impact-R System.
